All About Mrs. Natasha

Hey everyone! My name is Mrs. Natasha. I have been married to my husband for 3 years in April & we have a 2 year old & a 5 month old. My husband is our breadwinner & decision maker. [For such young adults - we're pretty old-fashioned] Jim* was in the military when we got married but was medically discharged due to injuries sustained while Active Duty. We were stationed in California - near San Francisco - it was absolutely beautiful. We moved to Connecticut when Jim* was discharged. We had our 2nd baby shortly after arriving in CT.

That's some back story for you.

I like to think of myself as a "Surrendered Housewife".... have you ever read "Fascinating Womanhood" by Helen Andelin?

Info on being a "Surrendered Wife"
I believe that my husband is the head of our household. I relinquish all control over to him.

Ephesians 5:22, 28-31. "Wives submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, even as Christ is head of the church; and he is the savior of the body. Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so let wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wife as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it . . . So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church . . . For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall  be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh".

Jim*s responsibilities are:
  • Lead our family in a way that honors God.
  • Be the breadwinner & provide for our family.
Mrs. Natasha's responsibilities are:

  • Respect my husband & his needs & direction for our family.
  • Raise our children.
  • Maintain our home. Clean/Laundry/Misc.
  • Cook.

Here is a brief overview of my life & a guideline as to what you might see on here. I hope you stick around to keep my company in my daily life!
